General Technology Company, headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, joined forces with Hewlett-Packard in 2005 after many years of development work to launch new ink solutions for printing on a variety of substrates as required by variable data printing machine manufacturers everywhere.  As the applications using thermal inkjet in industrial printing have grown, so has the need for new environmentally friendly inks that can adhere to more and more types of paper, plastic, and metal.  As one of the first steps toward that end, General Technology has designed an ink that prints on more substrates using thermal inkjet technology than ever before, with the safer, cleaner, ease-of-use that HP customers appreciate.

General Technology was the first outside partner to provide HP with an ink solution that is filled at HP production facilities.  Together with HP, we stand behind our ink products that are dedicated to the success of our OEM printing machine manufacturers as well as their end user customers--printing plant managers, operators, and assembly line employees working hard on the job every day.
